So I think I make life a litttttle to complicated for myself!
1. I decide to move server - still the same host
2. I email them
*waits*
3. get told to set up new account - transfer then cancel old one
me: I dont want to get charged for a months of unused service
them: cancel before the 9th and you wont
me: WFT thats on Sunday and I dont even know what fucking time zone your in!!
4. having emailed everyone a few days previously *hopes* they've backed up
5. feels bad - transfers their sites for them (cos lets face it guys completely inept in the DB backing up department)
6. mySQL export went screwwy keeps adding pointless text to sql file have to be selective about copying and pasting - ie copying every table one at a time from .sql file ARG
7. Have to go to clients house - have to back up/transfer files before I go to clients house *copies and pastes madly* and get dressed/do make up eat too
8. Goes the wrong way to clients house ends up on my idea of a nightmare roundabout - sunbury cross.
Go screaming (literally) twice round that get off on the wrong exit the second timeround - went to richmond then hampton then ALL the way back to sunbury. Get to clients house. (eventually)
9. Can't do what I came to do cos of fucking server change - cant finish transferring data for her husband, feel bad cos I have to leave for cinema
10. go to cinema, Run Fat Boy Run is fantastic - nearly cry laughing
11. Go for maccidees get pissed off with my friend for basically taking the piss out of the fact that I hardly ever go out - I remind her that getting pissed and having people laugh at me/grope me in clubs isn't my idea of a good night out - at least not everyday mind ;)!
12. Get home, send stupid n00b email to hosts - realise mistake - tell them to disregard.
13. Have to deal with friends askign about the phone line/internet for house which I got forced into doing yesterday which also stressed me.
ARG I need to vent lol I can't do all this stuff - I need a lie down.
and NONE of my sites work - fucking DNS. Someone do start > run > cmd and type 'ipconfig /flushdns' loads for me.
